Prado Dog Training Park

Start time is 9 am. We will be in the NAVHDA training area. We should be finished by no later than 2 pm. The Fun Day will be followed by a SCVC board meeting.
Entry to Prado is $15 payable at the office before you head over and down the hill to the Fun Day. Camping is available for $10 a night – but it is Dry Land Camping only. No fires or grills.
Lunch will be potluck, so in the best traditions of Hungarian hospitality, bring your culinary creations to share! And bring your own plates and cutlery, so you can feast. Bring your own beverages.
If you have pop-ups for shade, folding tables for food, chairs, coolers and/or water containers, please bring them too – you can help us create a comfortable communal area for us all to gather. Remember your hat, sunscreen and water for both you and your dog.
We will have short talks and demos, and fun activities on Agility, Rally, and Field for you and your dog. In addition, by request we will have a talk by Jamie Walton on ‘Flying your Vizsla’.
And we will have games. Lots of games! But be prepared to participate WITH your dog! For example, if your dog is bobbing for hot dogs, you will bob for apples. If your dog is part of the weird food eating contest – so are you! Compete for prizes but also for laughs!
Well behaved and non-agressive vizslas are welcome off leash, but please bring leashes just in case. Remember to clean up after your dog and take all garbage home with you.
