The SCVC Independent Specialty was held concurrently with the Lake Mathews Kennel Club All Breed Show.

Nancy Guarascio has been a Vizsla breeder/owner and handler for almost 30 years.
Her first show dog was Ch. Jennifer’s Penny and her foundation bitch. That was the beginning of her kennel named Jen’s Penny Vizslas.
Nancy has produced multiple BISS , multiple Int’l BIS, multiple Group 1 and Group winners, Gold Grand Champions, Junior Hunters and an ROM.
In addition Nancy is very involved in Vizsla Rescue and is the foster mom of Beau the Vizsla with the Cleft Palate.
She has served as the VCNC Specialty Chairman and as a VCNC board member and officer. She has also been a director and officer for Contra Costa County Kennel Club.
When Nancy isn’t at a dog show, you might find her SCUBA diving on some exotic island. She is Past President of the National Association of Underwater Instructors and was inducted into the Women in Diving Hall of Fame in 2011.
